Campervan ground
Facilities for short days.
Access is free of charge.
An area covering 350 m² with nine places for campervans, located in Chaussée Bocquaine in the same park as the Centre International de Séjour, Centre Saint-Exupéry and La Comédie, less than ten minutes on foot from the town centre.
This area is close to the centre of town so that those who use it can visit the city's various sights and do their shopping by bus, bike or on foot.
Situated near a garden planted with trees on the side of the River Vesle, this area has various facilities (running water, a drain for emptying waste water and chemical toilets, rubbish bins) designed for campervan users staying a maximum of 48 hours.
The area is separated from all other parking areas by a barrier that opens with a code. Visitors can obtain the code either from the reception desk at the Tourist Office, 2 rue Guillaume de Machault near the cathedral, or from the Centre International de Séjour (CIS, Esplanade André Malraux, Chaussée Bocquaine), accessible from 8am to 10pm.
This campervan ground was created for the purposes of:
- Providing campervans with their own equipped place to park up
- Preventing unauthorised parking in town.
Access to the campervan ground:
From the A4 motorway (free section) exit at Reims Centre and follow signs to La Comédie, Stade de Reims and Centre International de Séjour.
