
SNCF train station: The journey between Reims and Paris takes an hour and a half. There are anything up to 12 trains a day. The East European TGV high-speed train line will stop at Reims and its region from June 2007. There will be two stations in the Reims area – Reims station for those coming from and going to Paris-Est, and Bézannes station for inter-sector TGVs linking Lille, Rennes, Nantes, Bordeaux, Strasbourg and Marne-la-Vallée.
The arrival of the TGV high-speed train is bound to increase the city's appeal. By making Reims a 45-minute journey from inner Paris and Roissy (CDG airport), the city has been given a wonderful opportunity to develop its economic, demographic and urban interests.
