Instigated by the association “Toutes Recherches Artistiques et de Créations” (TRAC), Jonglissimo was first staged in 1994.
It is essentially a juggling forum (jugglers' workshops, open stages, etc.) that has always been open to the public, with beginners' workshops and a programme of original, top-quality shows.
Since 2000, Jonglissimo has had a bi-annual flavour with two alternating events:
- The Jonglissimo festival in even-numbered years,
 - Les Nuits de la Jongle de Jonglissimo in odd-numbered years with regional evening events that incorporate all the different types of juggling shows that exist.
TRAC also puts together circus act training courses.
